This 4 ½ day training course focuses on deepening the understanding of the use of Elemental Healing.
It enhances the connection between body, mind, and spirit. It prepares the practitioner to deal professionally with client’s emotional releases which may occur during their massage.
This course also offers an opportunity for goal
setting and for gaining clarity on a personal level. Working with the four Elements of Air, Water, Fire and Earth is very
powerful. This is the best medicine for all ills, and the utmost solution to all problems.
All the four Elements and Spirits fill nature with life.
Earth
Hina is Mother Earth and Ku the architect and builder. They rule the element Earth and all the Guardian Spirits of the Earth. Those who wish to contact the power of Earth should focus upon Hina and Ku, who bring health and wealth.
Water
Water has two forms, seawater, and freshwater. Kanaloa rules the vast ocean and Kamohalii is the male Aumakua of sea and land. Kahaloapuna is the Princess of Living Water. Lono dwells in the rain clouds. These Aumakua rule the water element and all the spirits of water..
Fire
Pele is especially connected with fire and lives in the volcano. Some of her brothers and sisters are also connected with fire, such as Pele-Hiiaka I Keahienaena and Hiiaka I Ka Poli O Pele. Fire can warm and heal, but it can also burn with a fierce temper. These Aumakua rule the fire element and spirits of fire.
Air
Air is considered the highest element. The most powerful Aumakua are never seen to touch the earth. They walk in the air.
The four traditional elements of life: Earth, Water, Fire and Air denote eternity in form. They are the symbol for the presence of the Great Power in nature. They represent more than their literal meaning and more than the states of matter: solid, liquid, heat and gas.
They represent the descent of the spirit into matter. The Hawaiians believe that God is reflected in nature. Truth is the reality around us, and we are with God when we live in the beauty of nature. Disease is a distortion of reality. Illness is a distortion of true perception. The four elements therefore represent the nature of man/woman. The physical body is made up of the elements of earth and water, but there is no life without the descent of spirit into matter forming the body, life and soul. They are the vehicle of mana that give each of us the divine spark.
With the balance of internal polarity and the development of psychic sight comes the integration of the four elements of life activated by the spirit. This is like a fragrant flower unfolding, upon which blows the gentle breeze of cosmic love. The flower of love has petals aflame with divine energy.
The four sides of Kaleoakeakua represented the four elements as the pillars of nature. The open top represented the entrance of the spirit into matter. The human body is an Oracle. The four elements are the negative polarity to the spirit which is the positive polarity. The inner eye directs the positive to enter the body and transform it. The sides of the Oracle ruse to form a symbol of the true self. Seen from the side with spirit as the apex, a pyramid looks like a triangle. Thus, the true soul rises from the base of the matter to reach the high point of spirit.
Each element is ruled by a special Aumakua. By focusing the mind in meditation upon these Aumakua, the power of the four elements of life can be released and brought into balance.
This is the secret of Kahuna healing.
