We are going to be cleansing by fasting throughout the days. This will enable you to experience the depth and high vibrations within yourselves. Also, this is an easy way to stay in your Hakalau. You will have the opportunity to nurture yourself during this fasting period with fresh juices and soups.
Fasting on the course:
Fasting has been used for many centuries in many cultures as a process to cleanse the body and to practice self-discipline. It helps clear the mind so you can control your thoughts and senses more. By cleansing your physical body you will assist in renewing its energy.
In fact fasting is the natural way for the body to resist illness and pain. We use a lot of energy digesting food during the day. While fasting and giving the digestive system a break, the energy is released to use on spiritual development and selfhealing, as well as letting go of old waste and toxins from the body.
The first two - three days are the worst as you let go of toxins. You can expect to visit the toilet often. Headaches, âyellow tongueâ, heart palpitations (if so, eat some fruit to calm down) can also be effects of this cleansing process.

Please eat lot of the following:Â

How to prepare for a semi fast:
It is advisable to avoid all processed foods for 2 - 3 days before arriving at High Spirits. If possible, consuming only raw fruits and vegetables during this 2 - 3 day period is ideal. To reduce any possible side effects of detoxification, it is important to cleanse the bowels before commencing a juice fast. You may choose to do this by visiting a colon hydro therapist, by taking home enemas, applying castor oil to the abdomen or by using purgatives such as herbal laxatives (senna laxative or tea) Start daily dry skin brushing (using a natural bristle brush) and bring your brush up to High Spirits with you. Among the many benefits dry skin offers, it will increase the eliminative capacity of your skin and lymphatic system, helping the removal of toxins from your system.
